Ormond Office Closure & Dr. Cady’s Retirement

Dear Patients, 

Caring for you, my patients, has been the most rewarding part of my 35-year career with the Florida Eye Clinic. However, effective December 31, 2023, we are announcing the closing of the Florida Eye Clinic, Ormond Beach office.

I have come to know many of my patients and their families as friends, and I am honored that many of you have asked me to care for two, and even three generations. 

Dr. Jay Ananthan-Nair, O.D. or Dr. James Jochum, M.D., and our Orange City office team will continue to provide you with quality, compassionate care. Both doctors are extremely knowledgeable, personable and have my full confidence.  The contact information for that office is as follows: 787 Health Care Drive, Orange City, FL 32763, (386) 668-7189.

However, I understand that the Orange City office may require more travel than you are comfortable with.  If that is the case, I would recommend the following practices in Volusia and Flagler Counties:

It has been an extremely rewarding experience to help Florida Eye Clinic grow to be one of the largest and most respected eye care practices in Florida and the country.  I specifically would like to thank my staff in the Ormond Beach office for their years of support and commitment to our practice and patients.
