I developed cataract in my right eye at a relatively young age. Dr. Pappas explained everything thoroughly and put my mind at ease as much as is humanly possible for someone with a MAJOR case of 'white coat syndrome.' The day of the surgery, his staff was patient and understanding. The 'twilight' sedation worked nicely, but despite that, I apparently was quite difficult during the surgery. The results were stellar! I now have near perfect vision in that eye and the recovery was painless. I can't recommend Dr. Pappas enough!
