The wait was brief and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I felt good after my appointment because I understood what and why for each eye examination. I greeted as I entered the building and goodbye as I was leaving the building.

I was evaluated at The Florida Eye Clinic as being a good candidate for cataract surgery, so after receiving medical clearance from my physician, I began the process. I had a consultation with Dr Xavier who did the initial measurements & then was paired up with Dr Harry Pappas. Besides being a very personable & punctual man, he turned out to be a very proficient surgeon. I didn't know what to expect from surgery on a such sensitive organ of my body, but I didn't feel even a tinge of pain or discomfort throughout the entire process. The bedside manners of the assistants, nurses & the anesthetist were calming & informative. In the end, the results were life changing for me as my vision improved to better than 20/20 from -1300! Now I can see better than I have for decades. Thank you Dr Harry R Pappas for giving me a new "outlook" on life!
